The Vision
Sid Lee is a digital agency and architectural firm, their team members are highly creative people who seek inspiring spaces and creative environments. They wanted all of their office spaces including their washrooms to be inviting, inspiring and beautiful for their team. Adding the living wall feature to the main floor co-ed washrooms was not only inspiring the space but adding air purification properties to contribute to a clean and healthy work environment.
The Details
As this living wall was installed in a confined hallway entrance to the bathroom, the plant selection had to stay close to the wall in order to keep clearance space. Our planting design used a large begonia to separate the entrance from the exit which is also visible from the cafe area of the office. The combination of the black wall finishes and tropical greens in the living wall really stand out and makes this bathroom entrance unique.
