The Vision
The goal was to create a double sided living wall as the main feature to the entrance of the Fonds de Solidarité FTQ building. In collaboration with the designers and contractor, Wallemi created a self-standing structure in the existing lobby to replace the water feature with a tall vertical garden. The idea was to create the double sided wall for a separation between the seating areas and the main entrance.
The Details
The entrance of the FTQ building offers a stunning atmosphere for staff and the public as they pass by to go about their day or pause to enjoy this tall and commanding vertical garden. The planting design creates an inspiring visual experience with a towering wall of large accent plants, featuring over 33 varieties of plant species that were designed to allow large foliage plants to thrive and capture your eye.
